My group trainings and one-to-one coaching programmes for businesses, schools, colleges, higher education and further education, are tailored to the clients' needs and include an initial consultation to ensure programme focus and client satisfaction. Examples of the types of training I provide include those below.

Communication Skills Workshop 

 

This one-hour workshop is designed to provide individuals with the understanding and skills to improve their personal presentation style and enhance the quality of their social interactions. The training covers three inter-connected areas: a) core communication skills; b) personal presentation; and c) confidence. The development of these areas will support the individual's ability to make positive impressions and build meaningful rapport with others.

Small Group Communication Skills Intensive

 

This small group programme (maximum of eight participants) runs over a 5-week period and is ideal for those seeking to express themselves more effectively and connect better with others. The sessions, which include several practical exercises, offer opportunities for exploration and discussion and are designed to strengthen the individual’s communicative competence and promote self-confidence. Each participant receives constructive feedback (with specific goals) and receives an additional “check-in” session to consolidate learning.

Interview Skills Workshop

 

This one-hour workshop provides an overview of how best to prepare for interview (including specific types such as medical school). In the session we cover core communication skills including breathing and posture as well as the relevance of non-verbal communication in face-to-face interaction (e.g. how to be an effective communicator, how to make a good first impression, how to manage nerves). The workshop highlights the types of questions individuals are likely to receive and explores the most effective way to approach answering them, thereby facilitating the applicant’s own ability to organise their preparation effectively. The group workshop can be used in conjunction with additional one-to-one sessions to provide practical exploration through mock interview and feedback.

One-to-One Interview Skills

 

This three-session tailored programme comprehensively prepares the individual for interview and sets them up to really stand out from the crowd. The training includes assessment, interview preparation, two formal mock interviews with feedback, and a written action report to highlight client strengths and areas for improvement. Through the programme we explore interview dynamics, how to make the right first impression, and how to get the most out of interview preparation (including how to address the types of questions likely to be asked). The mock interviews give the individual first-hand experience tackling “difficult” questions and managing any anxiety associated with the process, including how to access resilience in the face of potential setbacks. Additional top-up sessions can be provided if needed.

Resilience and Wellbeing

 

This six-session perspective-shifting programme is designed for anyone struggling with areas such as stress, anxiety, depression or low self-esteem. It can be run individually or in small groups and is designed to point individuals in the direction of their own innate wisdom and mental health. The programme introduces individuals to the Three Principles behind healthy psychological functioning and explores how we experience life from the inside-out. The course explores topics such as how to handle emotional ups and downs, how to develop better relationships with others, and how to have a more satisfying experience of life.
